RUD

Im very happy to announce that I was one out of 25 to get the scholorship RUD! There were over 200 applicant! So this means that I can rehears new music with my band and get salary for it. This is the beginning of my next album, Im not sure when I will record and release but Ill keep you posted!

Great evening!

Wow! I just have to tell you about my saturday. I was the host for Kalmar Länsfinal Musik Direkt, a music competition for young musicians.

The whole day started with me having a workshop (or more like a dialogue) for the participating "youngsters". It was so much fun and interesting listening to their ideas about their music and the future and stuff. So I hope that I gave them some eye-openers, that would be cool.

The whole evening started at 18.00 and I did the presentation for all the bands and a short interview after their performance. And let me tell you; I HAD A BLAST! TJOHO!

They were so talented and well-articulated and funny, I´m positive many of them will go far. I heard some really great music that night!

Winner was the wonderful Nina Alerstedt who accompanied herself on guitar while singing her own song and one cover. Great voice and a fantastic presence on stage! I´m keeping my fingers crossed for her in the grand final!

I did a little performance too together with Carl Svensson on guitar, he traveled all the way from Gothenburg that night and arrived 30 minutes before the gig. Hahaha!
