News about Facing South

After a lot of "incidents" at the printing, my record "Facing South" is finally ready!!

I picked it up yesterday and it looks great all thanks to Sanna Larsson´s illustrations and Anna Bohlin´s grafic design.

I´ve also signed with the greatest PR agents there is; Ebba Lindqvist and her accociate Liza Skoglund! Ebba has been in this business since year 2000 and in 2006 she decided to start her own company. At 2007 she hired Liza.

Ebba´s list of customers is really impressive and I´m so happy to work with her and Liza!

Update

Everything is going so smooth with the release and I just want to update you with the latest news. The date for the release is 15th of June!!!!!!!!! Put a mark in your calender!

I´m about to sign with a distribution company, they seem really professional and I think our collaboration´s going to be fantastic. I will let you know more about that when the deal is closed.

So you will soon be able to find my record in the major CD stores and also online for download. Doesn´t this sound great!

I´ll keep you posted on the progress with the booklet, it´s not done yet. It´s better that it takes some time and turn out amazing than rushing things and get disappointed.

Gig at Kalmar Jazzclub

The 11th of December I had a gig at Kalmar Jazzclub. It was together with some local musicians that I´ve played with before, several times, but never as a whole group. It was really amazing, after just one rehearsal we did a great concert with music written mainly by swedish jazzmusicians. We got great reviews from the audience and that gave us the idea to maybe continue playing together in the future.

The musicians were: Olof Nilsson; piano, Jonathan Lundberg; drums, Jens Nilsson; sax, Vlado Markovic; bass and me on vocals.

Thank you guys, it was great! And thanks to everyone that came to the concert!
